PROMISE'S

w 9

“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him”.

"Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am, If thou take away from the midst the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity”.

"For the lord is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us”.

Isaiah 33:22; Isaiah 58:9; Isaiah 59:19

ENDURANCE

Many times we hear the word endure, many times we use the words "weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning"

What is it to endure it is to suffer (something painful and long) patiently. To tolerate, to remain in existence. Jesus endured the agony of death and shame painful and long for us and He did this patiently, Jesus tolerated all the curse, insults, abuse, and reviling of His opposers patiently, and Jesus will remain in existence for ever because He is eternal.

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God". Hebrews 12:2

As we go through this life we are confronted with trials, persecutions, afflictions, how we deal with our confrontations is another matter, once the Spirit of God is abiding within us we will deal with all the confrontations the way Jesus dealt with His.

When we are buffeted, abused, threatened, disrespected, and persecuted how do we deal with it?

The word of God says, "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him". James 1:12

"Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy". James 5:11

Endurance is the principle of God and He calls us to that place where we can truly endure under all situations and circumstance, the word of God endures all attacks because it is true remember when the test and trials confront you to endure for you have a crown laid up in Heaven for you.

"But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you". 1 Peter 1:25

"But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved". Matthew 24:13

Today the word is endurance and endurance is patience and patience brings godliness.
