In the natural order of things when you are in a fight there are some things you must do and there are some things which must happen and you see and touch while you are preparing for the fight and while you fight.
You must prepare for the fight and you put forth all your energies and and zeal to win the fight, you study the moves of your opponent, you practice, equip yourself, eat and drink healthy. You do all this because you do not wish to lose the fight if you win you will be rewarded with the accolade's and praise of men and peradventure financial gain.
If you lose the fight you feel ashamed and inadequate. In the natural order of things you see your opponent, however in the Spiritual warfare you only feel the blows you see no opponent. Because of these things let us come to judgment and understanding. Jesus is our only defence and is the only one fully equipped and qualified to fight this battle for us. We are inept to fight this battle and join with me in saying thank God for fighting this battle for us all glory be to his name alone, we of our self can do nothing.
Thank you Lord for your sacrifice and love, below is a few passages of scripture for consideration and meditation.
Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
(2Ti 2:4)
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
(Rom 7:23)
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
(2Co 10:4)
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
(Rom 13:12)
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
(Eph 6:11)
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
(1Th 5:8)
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Remember the wiles of the demon is a death trap to ensnare and kill.

THE UNGODLY WHO IS HE?
The ungodly first is the Devil known as the Dragon or whatever name is attributed to him, he became the ungodly because he has no God in him. The only counsel the Devil can give is godless ungodly counsel.
The man whom the Devil counsel's will also become ungodly and he will hand down this ungodly counsel to others' and then you have a bunch of ungodly people giving counsel and sad to say many times the ungodly counsel many who profess to be of God hence the saying a profession is nothing.
And the man who walks in the counsel of the ungodly will eventually be like a barren tree which brings forth no fruit and complete and perfected unrighteousness to the glorification of the Devil the one who destroys.
However I am happy to say that there is a people which walks not in the counsel of the ungodly and this man or people is blest and so shall he be eternally. Because the man walks not in the counsel of the ungodly then he is walking in the counsel of the godly and the counsel of the godly comes from God himself.
This man who walks in the counsel of the godly will delight in the law of the Lord and in His law he will have delight and meditate day and night. His reward for doing this is being like a tree planted by the rivers of water, and bringeth forth fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Let us today be that man which is planted by the river's of water and walks in the counsel of the godly.
